But it is also just a common hacksaw blade embedded in a wooden or plastic handle. It’s not revolutionary. It is what it is.
My cat climbs right up on my lap if I bring out this awesome de shedding tool! And it is so satisfying to me to use!!!!
I got one for my siamese cat and its insane how much fur comes off each time I brush despite them being short haired. It’s literally like I’m pulling lint out of the laundry. My cat loves being brushed and begs me for it. This works because I’ve notified significantly less cat hair.

What is the difference between the Furminator and the equigroomer? Because I was told the Furminator is the best tool there is, although I don’t believe that.
I got one & agree 100%. Best grooming tool ever! My dog has short hair but I was amazed at the undercoat hair that came off her. And she stands still, so it must feel good to her.
Please do a video of just deshedding with this tool. No talking necessary. Just the deshedding sound and the fur being removed.

Just bought one for my rottweiler. He is having issues with sensitive skin and also iv never owned a rottweiler who sheds so much! 😂

I recently purchased two of these brushes, one for my cat and one for my parents. Our dog at home has such a short, coarse coat that other brushes and combs were ineffective. The equigroomer works Great on her! My own cat lives it too

I just adopted a senior cat and she is a long fur. I’ve always had short fur cats so Im learning about brushing.
My short-haired cats and dogs love this. It’s gentle on them, but it works great at removing loose hair. I decided to try it on my wool rugs when I saw a layer of fine hair that the vacuum didn’t remove completely. Phenomenal!

I tried them out several times: on a labrador, a chipin, an American Akita and a mixed fluffy breed.
It DIDN’T deshed any of these dogs.😖
I spent a lot of money based on your videos and now I’m doubting if any of the brushes recommended by you are actually worth the money.😔

This is a great product! One of my cats LOVES the equi-groomer and the other won’t tolerate it at all. The one who loves it is the one who gets hairballs, and the incidence of hairballs is much reduced with regular equi-groomer sessions. One thing you need to know is that the loose hair that the equi-groomer collects does NOT get caught in the teeth of the comb at all. This means that, as shown in the video, you have a ton of fur being pushed along, and if there is ANY breeze, the hair flies all over the place! If you can use this outside, do so! Otherwise, you will have clouds of fur trying to float away. I generally put the cat on a fleece towel and continue the strokes of the equi-groomer to the end of the cat’s body and then push the loose fur onto the fleece, where it sticks pretty well and I can gather it up later to throw away.
I know I’m a year late but I’m going to ask that you add guinea pigs to that list. My boys don’t like being brushed but I love the tool. Insane amounts of dead hair falls off of them! ❤

I just ordered one for our husky. I am hoping she will like this better than the rake she hates. No matter how careful and gentle I try to be she really seems to be bothered by it. Where is the name and how can I get that brush ?
Ive used my horse grooming tools on my dogs, specifically a shecding blade, metal and rubber curry combs and brushes. Never tried them on my cats but they didnt volunteer to participate in being groomed with the horses lol I definetly will have to get this tool.
