Over the Counter Itch Relief for Pets! ( Zymox with Hydrocortisone) | Veterinary Approved

Hey Guys, Its Spring Allergy time! The sun is out and the weather is warm! This is when we all love going to the dog park to let our dogs run and play in the dirt and grass. Dogs are prone to environmental allergies that cause them to get itchy paws and skin and in this video I will show you how to provide itch relief using Zymox products for your pets!

Zymox’s Topical cream is perfect to use on red, itchy and irritated skin and inside paw pads. ZYMOX® Topical Cream contains the patented LP3 Enzyme System which blends a concentrated combination of protein, enzymes plus skin soothing aloe vera and 0.5% hydrocortisone for itch relief. The Cream features a catheter tip for direct application. Ideal for areas around the face, paws and body folds.
In this video I am using my dog Violet to show you guys how I apply the Zymox Topical Spray.
I Love they Zymox Topical spray with 0.5% Hydrocortisone to help with itch relief and red irritated skin!
The spray can be used anywhere on the dogs skin. You can literally soak your dogs paws in the spray and then just pat it dry with a paper towel to give your dog itch relief from allergies.

You can also use the Zymox itch relief Cream to help too.

Very nice, and timely, video. My GSD has recently gotten a skin infection, pyoderma i think, that may have started from a recent flea infestation. I got rid of the fleas with diatomaceous earth but then she got the skin allergy. I’ve ordered the Zymox shampoo, conditioner and itch spray. I had tried other brands without the hydrocortesine (sp?) but they didnt work that well.
A couple of questions I have, maybe content for a future video, are:
I have a min Poodle (10 yo) with bad teeth. A Vet recommended pulling all of them but I want to get a second opinion. Do you have any suggestions?
    (2) Whats the best way to trim a dogs nails without getting the quick? I have the large GSD and the 12 lb min Poodle.
    Thank you, enjoying your videos!

Bathing my Dalmatian in oat milk (a cup of rolled oats in an old sock, run under water to remove the gooey starch) was always an effective way to relieve sensitive skin.

So a year on how is Violet doing? Did the Zymox cure her skin condition?

My baby ( profile pic ) has been battling skin issues her whole life. They come in waves. They say its in part allergies ,but not only allergies and ten dont really know what else is the issue. I’m broke as fuck and I’ve spent thousands at multiple vets trying to get her relief. She’s been on zyrtec xannax, and many other mediations. Nothing helped. She also gets gulping seizures or doubling swallowing fits. Most of the medicines seemed to make them worse. Just recently ran out of this product and she’s worse than ever. Like 2x as bad. She’s so thin towards her butt😖. My question is.. Is she going through topical steroid withdraw? Can dogs get topical steroid withdraw. Some doctors dont even recognize it as a condition in humans which it definitely is. I’m pretty sure its what my baby is going through now. Its driving her mad and there is no remedy other than time if she is going through topical steroid withdraw. I’d recommend no other human give their pet this product for a prolonged period of time because of tsw

I need help with my German Shepherd. Years of intertriginous ulcerations. Constant vet visits. No diagnosis 3 years later. Thousands of dollars later. Has received antibiotics antifungals. Topical powders. Been put to sleep to diagnose the area.Nothing works and no diagnosis. Changed his food? Any idea what to do ?
He can barely walk anymore due to the pain in his paws. Otherwise he is a healthy 6 year old Shepherd. Initially as a puppy he had ulcerations around his external anus. Those disappeared, then changed to superficial ulcerations around his mouth and nose, now it’s primarily his feet. Him not walking is so sad, please help. Human doc Shari 🙂
