    What if the kitten get a high dose of probiotics?

    Finally found a pet probiotic powder without added flavor & now my cats will easily eat when its mixed with their wet food. Both cats gave hyperthyroidism & on a lipoderm form of methimazole (one cat cannot handle any tablet or oral version). His vomiting episodes have decreased since adding the probiotics.

    We’re so glad you addressed this for us – fascinating stuff.
    We’re going to go with the "Fortiflora" by Purina for our Tabby brothers, "The Boys."
    * They thank you, too…

    Would raw goats milk be a good addition to add probiotics? I wanted to start adding a little of it regularly to my cats’ meals.

    I asked my local vet if I antibiotic was going to kill a probiotic, and she said no it doesn’t work like that.

    And then I listen to your video and you say it does if given at the same time.

    Hmmmm.

    Are there any ones you would recommend? I have a multi-species household and right now am using profivex, or should i use one that is cat specific?

    Thank you for your take! I recently came across a vendor at a cat trade show that sells "postbiotics" and I wanted to hear your take on it! Is it any more beneficial than probiotics?

    Yugurt is great for cats, my friends elderly cat went from dying and decrepit to thriving and looked much younger on his homemade yogurt. It was amazing!

    What are the strains that are beneficial for cats?

  15. @the_skyhasnolimit on October 25, 2024 at 5:03 pm

    My kitten is having a bloated tummy because of sudden change in food I guess. Owing to this she is having laziness in walking. What should I do? Does proper probiotics help in digestion?

    Love all the information on this channel! Thanks for putting forth the effort and yes, I routinely give my three cats probiotics and they are much healthier for it!

    Can my cat eat my homemade, 36 hour fermented dairy called L-Reuteri?

  18. @ParDiss-e4i on October 25, 2024 at 5:09 pm

    Like everything else they depend on dosage too. Like we were told put a whole sachet in the food instead half a sachet is better otherwise he gets constipated again. But it works and yes once it works don’t use it until he needs it again (has diarrhea again).
