I have been taking allergy shots for 4 years. About 2.5 years on same dose 0.8ml per week. Now I want to stop it. Can I stop it now at once or I must have to visit the Dr. For adjustment of dose or any change in pattern or distance between 2 doses is required while stopping it. Please guide

wait, the thing is we have 2 dogs here. We don’t know their breed because they are street dogs but my little brother is okay with the dogs he plays with them and no allergic reaction, can you guys tell me why? oh and he’s been around a shit zu and those are supposed to be hypoallergenic but he still got a allergic reaction. Also I’ve touched many dogs such as street dogs and a golden retriever and I never washed my hands nor cleaned the fur in my clothes and I hug my little brother and no allergic reaction, is he really allergic or is the allergy gone?

I have horrendous allergies to fur and i currently have five pets (i’ve gotten used to three of them) and i love all of them in words i can’t explain but i also have a horrible fear of shots and will do anything not to take one, i need some recommendations to help make my allergies less bad

  11. @rachelmann3462 on October 26, 2024 at 3:43 pm

My westie (bless his little heart) used to cause my pet allergies to flare up but that stopped since doing some of the things on this video such as keeping him out of my bedroom and bathing him regularly (which he hates!) plus I use a nasal barrier that prevents the dander going up my nose. I use sinubalm but they all work pretty much the same as they trap the dander at the base. This is simple yet effective and I wish I had thought of it years ago! My only allergy issue now is slightly itchy eyes (but I don’t know if reading too much causes that) and some occasional congestion (maybe three days per month which I can’t understand).

having allergies when you’re a crazy animal lover is a cruel fight between my body and soul

edit : I checked with a doctor and my allergies were under control but since I had reflux they thought my lung react to the bird dust and I had to let go of my parrot. always double check people. I still have allergies but they’re easy to control

  24. @erikbongnilsson246 on October 26, 2024 at 3:55 pm

QUESTION!! Preferably by a physician. He sais, Although allergy shots can often cure pet allergies, it’s usually better to manage your allergies. Why would it be better to keep being allergic and instead of curing it, just keep on manage it and just suffer a little less than curing does. I want to know because it’s getting suspicious these days because a lot of experts has an alternative motive and get extremely well compensated when hired to work under cover as a subject matter expert. It’s much more to gain by selling multiple types of allergy remedies like pills, sprays, eye-drops, pads to humans. In addition they can also start selling treatments for the poor animal too, like pills, schampoo, combs etc to expose your pets to. Heck even Big brand manufacturers can start producing special "HEPA filters to your vacuum" products that claims to take care of dandruff more effective. Is it better for the world economy to just manage it and live your whole life forced to pay expensive treatment, or is there just as many reasons why one should avoid to start with curing it and then if necessary compliment it as needed?

Super awesome. I’m SUPER allergic to dogs, dust and it feels like everything. Does it make swelling inside the nose go away? Either one or the other side of my nose is and always have been swollen inside all my life due to allergies. Will this reduce the swelling in my nose?… I start immunotherapy in a week. Thanks

  26. @1ofares1oh on October 26, 2024 at 4:00 pm

I live in an apartment and keeping them out of one of the 2 rooms i have would be hard, im going to see my dr this Friday and to ask to see an allergist, I love my fur babys so dam much and one of them is my mental health companion, i just want to know that itll be better eventually if I do my part (such as following cleaning habits and or medications and the such)

  34. @wednesdayschild3627 on October 26, 2024 at 4:04 pm

Too bad none of these treatments worked for me. I am now looking at a psychological approach. Aka the mind body connection.

If you expose yourself enough will you develop a immunity to pet allergies?

  38. @aurora_98 on October 26, 2024 at 4:10 pm

    Hard one for me.
    I love cats.
But my skin and general health improved a lot since I’ve moved away from my pets to another country.
No more acne and my asthma is gone.
I used to have a daily asthma treatment, I do not even carry a puffer on me anymore 🤷🏼‍♀️

  45. @marysizemore191 on October 26, 2024 at 4:19 pm

Allergy shots is horrible I used to be able to be around cats and dogs but not now because I started taking allergy shots. They work whole you are taking them but when you stop taking them beware you will be so sensitive it’s like you can’t be around anything without getting a reaction. I’m building my own tolerance to stuff that I have allergies to but the shots are not an option for me. There was an older man that was sitting in the waiting room he was there getting an allergy shot just like I was and he said he’s been getting allergy shots for 10 years and he was sneezing and hacking into a tissue saying his allergies was bad today I knew right then and there that I was done with it I looked at him and said that long you’ve been taking allergy shots he said yep he said I’ll probably have to get them for the rest of my life I stopped 2 weeks after he told me that and never went back. It’s been almost two years without them yes I’m struggling but I won’tdo shots for the rest of my life I was going every week and my arms was so sore at times I couldn’t move them I would have to put ice packs just so they wouldn’t hurt as bad. That is some of the stuff doctors won’t tell you about allergy shots.

I don’t know how to distance with a cat or a dog because they’re just too cute I just wanna squeeze them.😫😫

  47. @leahy3787 on October 26, 2024 at 4:24 pm

To be able to wander the outdoors shirtless, without needing to stress about hiding your hives can be quite the relief. Whether it’s been 2 – 3 weeks and also you haven’t had the capacity to find a remedy, you could be suprised with Shane Zormander’s material.
