Thank you so much, Doctor 🙏🏽What’s funny is that I make green tea with honey to drink almost every day. Perhaps I can mix it to that 1/2 cup proportion with some green tea and use it as drops?

You are my favorite person ever right now because this fully worked for my newly adopted kitten. The vet couldn’t see him for a whole week and I was really worried about his little eye. I did the green tea a few times a day and within 3 days it was fully cleared up. When we finally made it to the vet she said he was basically on the back end of a URI and that he didn’t need meds or anything. He’s all better now ❤️

    Can conjunctivitis be chronic?

  39. @IndiBex86 on October 26, 2024 at 4:21 pm

I had to come back to comment. I saw this video and tried doing the honey water drops and also organic castor oil drops for an outdoor kitty who developed an eye infection. Yesterday morning, his eye was swollen, under both eyelids, and had green discharge. Here was my method: I used raw, organic honey with lukewarm water. I only made a tablespoon amount solution instead of the massive cup size he mentioned. (Lukewarm water is key to keep the healing enzymes of the honey from being destroyed.) Raw, local, unprocessed honey is also key to maximize healing (I’m a beekeeper). I applied honey water to a cotton pad and wiped his eye first, followed by a few drops of honey water to rinse his eye. Then, I applied 3 drops of organic castor oil to his eye and finally wiped it with a fresh cotton pad.
I applied this twice (wanted to apply it 3 times but he’s scratchy and hard to catch) This morning, as I came to give him a treatment (only the 3rd treatment) his eye was substantially better. The swelling was gone, as was the discharge. His eye was open and looked clear, just a slight squint. I am blown away by how quickly this method worked, and I am SO thankful for this video. Thank you!!!

Hi Dr I took my cat to the vet thinking she had conjunctivitis as she has brown/ reddish gunk coming from her eyes, they also get brown Crusty’s ( which I clean regularly). After some tests we couldn’t seem to find out what it is as my vet said it doesn’t look like conjunctivitis and there were no ulcers either. But I’ve noticed on one of her eyes she has a tiny bit of a bald spot ( near her tear duct) which the vet advised I should clean with salt water as they said she could be scratching at her eyes resulting in hair loss. The salt water was a temporary fix. I also checked her for ring worm which she does not have. Long story short my vet gave me an eye cream which did not help either. Then I took her to the vet once again and they said she has allergies. Not sure if it’s diet related or what.. (she keeps getting re occurring ear infections too) neither does my vet know why this is happening. Should I try the green tea method for this ? Please help I’m out of options. Btw she is 6 years old and this problem has never happened before. She is a British short hair breed.

  44. @deniselepage8409 on October 26, 2024 at 4:23 pm

Your cat is so calm allowing you to hold him like that. My cats would not let me do that. I am going to try the home remedies on my Lillie. She has clear liquid coming out of her eyes. Not scratching them. Thank you so much.

  45. @suesuez8452 on October 26, 2024 at 4:23 pm

Hello? Can i try it on my persian cat eye?

  47. @justmefu on October 26, 2024 at 4:27 pm

Thank you for the home remedy tips. Just one thing, I must say, when using honey do not use any metal spoons, forks, knives, ect.. it kills all the antibacterial properties in your honey. Please use plastic, wood, or bamboo utensils when using honey.

  48. @just_ducky_acres7561 on October 26, 2024 at 4:29 pm

i assume this would be a good application for my goose as well?
